Betsy's Cupboard

Through Betsy’s Cupboard, our emergency food and supply pantry, The Gathering Place provides an average of over 8,000 pounds of food and 386 toiletry bags each month for women, children, and transgender individuals who otherwise might not have enough food or basic supplies.

For individuals living in poverty, these items are sometimes the lowest priorities in their budget and getting one bag of groceries from The Gathering Place means that perhaps they can put additional money toward a rent payment, utilities, or other necessities. Individuals are also unable to purchase personal hygiene supplies with food stamps, so Betsy's Cupboard may be the only place they get shampoo, razors, soap, and other much-needed items.

You can help us make sure that the cupboard is never bare by bringing your non-perishable food donations, infant care supplies, and hygienic supplies to The Gathering Place at 1535 High Street in Denver.
